强光手电筒18650和5号电池的区别

18650的意思是，直径18毫米，长65毫米。而5号电池的型号是14500，直径14毫米，长50毫米。一般18650的电池在工业上用的比较多，民用的很少，常见的也就在笔记本电池和高档手电上用的比较多。18650只是电池的尺寸型号，根据电池种类还能分为，锂离子的18650，磷酸铁锂的18650，镍氢的18650（很少见），目前常见的18650是锂离子的。


我们都知道18650锂电池和5号电池都是圆柱型电池，而这两种电池在容量和材质上是有本质区别的。 
从外形上分析：这两种电池都属于圆柱型电池，只是外形的规格是不一样的。18650锂电池的规格是直径18毫米，长65毫米；而5号电池（其实5号电池的学名是14500电池）的规则是直径14毫米，长50毫米。


从种类上分析：18650锂电池可分为18650锂离子电池,18650磷酸铁锂电池,18650镍氢电池；而5号电池则有镍氢充电电池、镍镉充电电池、碱性锌锰电池（简称“碱性电池”）、普通酸性锌锰电池（简称“普通电池”）等；


从应用上来分析：18650锂电池多应用与工业上，民用比较少，一般也只有在在笔记本电池和高档手电电池的使用；而5号电池基本都是民用电池，大都是应用于小电器和数码产品中，当然也有少量运用在工业上。


当然强光手电中使用18650的电池趋势越来越大了，18650锂电池因用户体验效果好，所以也一直被用户认可，5号电池一般用在强光手电筒中可拆卸，一般来讲也是比较方便，但使用时间要比18650锂电池的时间要短，当然前提是电池的容量。
